PhD in Parkour - Will You Help
« Thread Started on Oct 1, 2009, 6:54pm »

;DHi,

For my PhD I need to interview (1 hour approx. each interview)10 -15 people aged 18 and over on their experiences of Parkour. I am researching the sociological and psychological reasons for its emergence and growth. I can conduct the interviews at the University of Teesside, Middlesbrough or at the University of Salford whenever it is convenient to do so (I am registered at both.) If you prefer I could conduct the interviews at a location of your choice.
It's qualitative research and so based entirely on your feelings of taking part etc. The material that the interview generates will form a central part of my Doctoral programme so it is important that we can talk about experiences of Parkour somewhere without interuptions/not rushed in a calm envirnoment etc ? (University ideal location). I can send a participation information sheet which will give you a better understanding of what will be involved. Just let me know.

Hope you can help - Looking forward to hearing from you soon

Mat

P.S. Please forward your email addresses/contact details to vazmat(at)yahoo.co.uk to arrange dates/times/locations for the interview and let me know that you are happy to take part etc. My mobile: 07977 441017. Cheers ;D
