Jam Upwrite---8th Jan 2005
At 12 noon three of the LPK members got to moorfields to find out that trains were off on the northen line and the entrance that we were meeting at was closed so things were already goin wrong. After a wait about 30 min bout 15 ppl were there so we went round to old hall street entrance there were more ppl there so we picked them up and moved on to the next spot. There were loads of biggners there and a few ppl who had done it before. So we were all doin some parkour in between spots then we went by st georges hall on a grassy spot and had a really good session, few falls and a few amazin stuff got through out in that hour whilst we waited for 2 more young lads to come.
The food then moved on after finding loads of place ppl had to go home due to exams jobs and lots more stuff but thank you very much for comin. after then we went by the libary found a boss wall and got kicked off by security. then more ppl had to go so there were bout 6 left then we went underground coz of the rain in the station we had some fun learnt some balance and just had fun in a diffrent style of parkour. then we decided we needed some photos so we went back to waterloo got the photographers camera and went back to town and got some boss shots they will be on the site which should be up soon then we all went home with the pain in our bodys and happy we had all been there.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CAME
please post wat you thought on here thanks very much if you want to come to the next one please come if u want to chat to me then please just add me to your messenger or text me dirtyfunkysofas(at)hotmail.com

Ben, i saw the program on t.v and was inspirerd, i think p.k is definitley is the art of motion! i'm 33 now but in my mid 20's i used to do stuff like this, but did not know anything bout pk. think it's great...... a type of freedom!
so has pk appointed you for this roll? ....... or have you decided to take it upon your self? why i ask is because i think poeple would want to do it P.K way than any other way..... i know it is free style , i mean the safty side ... how to land , take off that sort of thing .....
happy jumpping Bigg-air

FAO: BEN--LPK
I'm a little out of condition these days being 34 and I have a very hectic life but I have been following the LPK forums and have checked out your photo's!
I am a qualified first aider and have done advance study. I am many years into a martial art and cardio vascular background and would like to offer some help and advice although only general and not for liability. Looking at some of the jump and roll spectra outside the libary last week you need help.......not a critisism just thinking of the shocks and bones! Do you warm up first? Do you work down after you sessions? Do you carry a first aid kit(if so dump it). Dont know your experiences or any of the LPK group if I offended then please forgive me! If you would like some help then reply(who knows I may even have ago). I may even be able to help out with the camera or the posting? Let me know.............

Hey, I watched the parkour programme a while ago and was really inspired and i have told a few of my friends about it and they are really up for it, because at the moment we are making a sort of "stunt movie" but its just a bit of fun and we would all like to get serious about parkour. I was really suprised when i realised how far parkour reached around our country and even more suprised to learn that it was going on in my area! But, can i ask you something, me and all my friends are around 15 and i dont know if this is for everyone - or just people over a certain age, could you please tell me if we would be welcome and if we would be the only people our age there, thanks. Also the kid named Tom was your broken ankle a parkour related injury? Also, one final question, at these meetings would we just be arsing around trying to "annoy the locals" or would we be getting serious and learn how to perform jumps and also things such as climbing walls? Cheers

Hi (Ben -- LPK)
I have been lookin in to parkour for the past few days, as i need something to get me fit, and standard jogging is just far too boring! Would also like to know the average age of the people that attend the LPK meets? I'm 24 and am worried i won't fit in if i attend. For example how old are you? Plus i also can do NO parkour, would somebody with clear talent be able to give me some direction. I would have e-mailed these questions with a little more detail about myself, however, i tried the addresss of liverpoolparkourcrew(at)hotmail.com - obviously replcing the (at) for the symbol - and it didn't work! Any news on that?
Thanks.
