Ever since 'Jump London' was orginally aired in 2003, my two sons now aged 4 and 9, along with my husband are fascinated by this activity. Is there anything going on in Norfolk (we now live in Norwich) or in London. The boys (all three of them) would just love to witness or even take part in one of those gym sessions. We had to tape 'Jump Britain' the other night and the children have watched it already. We'll be ordering the DVD of 'Jump London'.
Why is the clock reading 6pm when it's 11pm?

Have you looked in the Region section of the forum to see if there is anything going on in your part of the UK. It really helps i have found people from where i live, you might have the same luck...

Hey, there will soon be a much larger Norfolk scene, as it is currently growing exponentially. I have organised a jam for lots of beginners on the 23rd. However this might not be suitable for such young enthusiasts. However for children of that age I recommend checking out urban free flow dot com. As the seidojin/UF crew (as seen in Jump Britain) are trying to organise a series of supervised gym sessions for complete beginners in London (similar to the one in Jump Britain), well worth checking out if you don't mind travelling. Hope that helps. Rory

Tbh, I think being trained to that extreme takes the fun outta parkour. I enjoy trying to work myself up into doing something incredibly stupid in a concrete area, eg. Dashvaulting a sainsbury's carpark wall. ^^

jIM, jIm, how can you be too trained? Surely there is always something else to learn? Sure, I can do an aerial cartwheel or handplant over a rail, but I can't precision, dash, kong or shoot lightning from my eyes. One of these days perhaps...

I didnt say 'too trained' I said training to those extremes, i.e. doing stuff in a specialised gym with padding all over the place, first. I think one of the best things is the element of risk and over-coming the fear of the move.
