Red I'm thinking a good place to start this newcastle/hanley jam would be in a gym...get everyone (including myself! ;D) comfortable with basic moves and jumps etc.
could you drop me an email mate...i've tried emailing you but it keeps bouncing back to me.
be reckless.....

Hey everyone, Similarly to all on this post would be up for a jam in the Hanley/Castle area. There are 2 of us, both 23 and feeling agile ;D I agree some gym training would be an idea as prelim work, the only places i can think of that would have the facilities are Fenton Manor (Fenton) and Dimensions (Tunstall) . Are either of these locations more suited to our fellow Pker's? Also if anyone reads this from Staffs or Keele Uni, what facilities have you got there? Looking forward to running round like a mentalist with you all, but with style hehehe DJ

Im from Staffs Uni (Stoke campus). There is a pretty good gym here methinks but unfortunately it's out of action at the moment due to renevation. There are moves being made to start a PK 'society' at the Stafford campus, but to be honest I'm starting to think it may be better if we all did something elsewhere, either instead of or as well as, so all the Uni and non-Uni people can meet up together.

And just out of interest, how many of you are PK'ing already and who is a total beginner like me?

Hi all.... again The 2 of us are complete beginners, i'm not sure it matters that we all are though, may even develop our own staffs style..... lol May be worth making some enquiries on where we can get as a whole to try out some moves, gyms... etc.... If anyone has any ideas at all let me know and i'll make some phone calls. DJ

Beginner myself..thats why i wanna give PK a go with crash mats first ;D.
TheDJ I went to Keele uni. I know they have rooms available at the sports centre...i'm pretty sure they come at a price though and i'm not sure where they would stand on crash mats etc. Maybe worth giving them a call.....

Ok guys loads of peeps have said they wana start and others wana meet up so i've decided to step in and get things flowing. All im suggesting is everyone meet up on Saterday in Hanley outside "Boots" in the highstreet at 11am. All are welcome, dudes and dudettes of any age. You will be able to tell who i am, im the ginger guy with a London acent. The idea is to find out what sort of number were are looking at so we can sort sumthing out in a gym and while were their share tips and have a small session. Let me know Either by leaving a post in the "Jam at Hanley" thread or send me an E-mail at Stimm002(at)aol.com.
