that is not what free runing and parkour are about. you do not run around as a mad hatter. its more complicated and requires precision and focus.

calm down jon let her express herself ;D when you 1st look at parkour - it will look odd - but when you train theres more understanding in it how far is ispswich / leicester from worcs? because i deffo would train with new peeps

Probably by Joe Bloggs - Parkour/Free Running does seem like running like a mad hatter, like everyone runs/walks down the street like that!. If they do visit websites like this, or actually speak to the people doing it, they then gain understanding of the work involved, gawd knows I am appreciating whats involved and the complexity of this sport.
Worcs is just under 300K from Ips, and 115K from Leicester.

I know that the last post was two years ago but i thought i'd give it a try. I live in Ipswich and am 15 years old. I'm currently teaching myself Parkour techniques from video's on the internet but i would love to know if there are any places to learn how to do techniques properly. Also, would love to know of any good places to try out parkour. My E-mail is bellers_boy(at)hotmail.co.uk if any one can give me any information. Thanks.

Hi i'm 16 and live inbetween Ipswich and Colchester I've been interested in freerunning but have never really been able to get involved in it as there are no clubs in my area and my friends are too lazy to try it. As I have said I don't really have much experience as scafolding is the only thing a village has to climb on. That said I would love to get involved. Don't really expect a reply as this thread is 4 years old but if anyone wants to get in touch:

So... I'm 24 and live in Ipswich... Really interested in practising Parkour... Never had friends interested enough to train with me and never really enjoyed running around on my own... Looking for some peeps to throw myself around the streets with. Staying hopeful!
