I live in Warlingham Surrey, which is close to Croydon, but far away from Guilford! Is there any chance that we could either move it, the training sessions, or give me tips on setting one up myself.

Get your friends into it! If someone sees you training, encourage them to start. However, the most important thing is to become good yourself! Then, people will aspire to you. This is how a local PK community starts and grows.
Dont be afraid to train on your own at first. To get other people into it, you have to impress them!
As for getting other pkers over to ure area, well, if its too far its too far. Start a community from scratch in your own area!

I have been busy for so long with School and college that I totally forgot about this site, although I have been still practicing parkour.
I live in Warlingham, and might be able to get some sort of training near me in my local gym.
There is also a place in Red Hill that I have heard about, supposed to be quite good, with all the proper equipment, so we can train in safety.
When I get my full Driving License I'll certainly look into it, but atm it's an 1hours bus journey just to get there!

Hey everyone. Ages and ages agon me n my mates stared a sort of PK varient. Then we saw Jump london and realised that the scaleof it is beyond us. We all live in the wimbledon area, and can get to south bank easily. Were all 15-16. Im really facinated by the attitudes of free runners. There way more welcoming to newbies than other urban communities. I thought that urban freindlyness ended at skatboarding until i found PK. Anynoe intrested in getting together with us? e-mail me on noseriouslyyourdogsdead(at)hotmail.com and maybe somthing will happen. Link

I'm very interested in starting up, but as I have certain issues with co-ordination and confidence I would need to be able to train in a safe environment like the gym session they showed on Jump Britain. Does anyone know of any such sessions that are around Woking/Guildford area or in South East London (Bermondsey/Peckham way)?

From a newbie's idealogy, If u wana get in2 parkour best way to start is on your own or with a mate to get to learn the basics + sh!t so u don't make a f0ol out of yourself around the local people lol, anyway there's enuf stuff on the net to get u started. When u start to get quite good like when you consider yourself Intermediate level (you should know when) you can start practising with groups of parkourists and learn even more. This method has worked for many of my mates and others in my area (at) skateboarding, and is the tried & true method to make you better. Peace and happy parkouring ;D
