hey, 1stly, dnt even attempt flips mate, lots of ppl dnt consider flips to be a part of parkour, there is a big debate about it, pk is all about the flow of movement, and it is debatable if flips add to the flow, however, if your like me an you wanna do flips anyway, feel free to work up to them, but dnt try anything like that when your just starting out, and eventually if you do wanna learn sum basic flips, the best thing you can do, is join a gymnastics class! as for everything else, as seb said on jump britain, you find your own way with pk, keep practising basics, do wotever comes to mind and see how you progress, it takes time but its worth it!

Hi folks - this is gonna be something massive and reading some of the posts on here, we all need something to get us started..
Most of us seem to live in different towns/cities, would it be a good idea to get a meet together somewhere central (Everyone bring 2 suggestions for locations) to get a base group established - see how many turn up and work from there ?
Once we can get an idea of places we can go Maybe choose 2 locations - meet in one place one time then change next time so everyone can get involved, hopefully the group will get bigger and eventually split into factions, with the aim of west mid inter competitions and maybe even find an indoor place along the way..
What does everyone think ?
Daz

hi me and my m8s started parkour 2days ago and having a video camera so we have decided to start our own video,we are begginers obviously but find it very easy as we have some sort of practie as some of us are rollerbladers (i was one) and some skateboard so if anybody would be intersted in being apart of this video and live in the redditch/bromsgrove area let me know and maybe we could all meet up and do some filming..if you want to get in touch my msn addy is heartagram_4eva(at)hotmail.com so either add me n we can chat or send me an email....speak soon probably Mickey
