On a scale of 1 to 10, for me it's about -4!
I just mess about really and if I see something that looks fun then I try it out whilst walking along the street or going to lunch or out on the bike or whatever. What about u?

I can't really scale it, cos I don't like to limit things really. I started last monday properly, practicing the fundamentals and I have been working on my upper body strength to allow for fluent wall grabs.
I've gotten a couple of others to join me and we've been meeting up regularly. I'm pretty adept at jumping, and balance.
Where about do you practice?

I practice anywhere that I can find. My favourite spot is in "The Library" (no, no the books one, my skate crew will know where I mean) legal stuff means I can't tell you! (Might get busted lol!)
I've been working on my upper body strength a lot for the last week now to help with pulling strength but my balance is already pretty good as I'm a black belt so it's pretty descent already. I do a lot of cycling and running as well to help with leg muscles.
I find pull ups and sit ups the best for helping with pulling strength.
What does everyone else do to help out with strength?

The Library, I see.
I'm developing a routine which I go through every morning, with a variety of press/push ups and sit ups starting with 10 at the moment. Pull ups are only available outwith my usual residence.
I want to develop a style of movement which involves the hands a lot, moving on all limbs across stuff. Black belt in what may I ask?
I hurt my shins recently and it is amazing valuing the simple pleasure of just bouncing up and down without pain.

I practice shotokan karate, I just wondered what style of martial art you have been taught. I find it has helped immensely with my leg muscles, so much so that it rivals a cyclist friend of mine.
