I think that in Derry and all around the county there are plenty of people who would give Parkour a shot and some would be pretty good. In Derry/Londonderry we're kinda blessed with the city walls and some other great spots like the hospital. Ever since i was wee i would run and jump and do it all very basicly, but i think we all did that when we were young, and i think thats why we are interested in Parkour. Personally i knew something like this exsisted but never knew of free running until i saw "jump London" quite some time ago. And now after "Jump Britain" was aired last night (I missed it...sheesh!) everyone i know seems inspired to try Parkour, especially since Derry featured in the programme.
If we could get something organised in the City, a place where people could go to practice, learn and socialise, i think there would be as big a following with Parkour as there is with Skateing and Blading.
I think it could be possible to rent out a time slot in a local gym (e.g St. Columbs Park or Templemore Sports Complex) where there are crash mats ready to use. It could be used by many people wishing to learn more and to try new things.
Gimme your feed back and we can see how many people in the area would be interested, ask around your friends, and if we get a good response we can try and make it work!

Score
Well i know people who definatly wana do it, and some people who would do it for some fun. Either way there would be alot of people trying this. I just cant wait until it stops F*cking raining so we can hit the streets lol
I think I'll head to St.Columbs and see if its possible to rent the gym and mats and stuff. If we're not allowed to do it privatly, we could start a Parkour club or something.
