Generally i think that people love to watch parkour, especially when its in real life in the streets or whatever... Has it happened to you that while your your doing all your cool tricks that you fall and everyone laughs? What are your worst injuries up till now? (Im guess that question has already been asked in these forums?) ;D

generally, shouldn't really fall and hurt yourself

yeah i generally aint hurt myself either, Hmm past injuries? a of a hell of scrapes and bruises as everyone gets:P, but my worst 2 proper injuries are i dislocated my knee and i fractured my wrists (just over a week ago) and sprained the other. That was because i tried too much too soon after taking some time out, so never just jump back into parkour you need to build up again by doing basics.

I have only injured myself once, and that was today. I jumped from a really high ledge onto the concrete as i landed I felt a twinge but yet I could walk and run fine.
But now it is just a stabbing pain.
Might keep me off parkour for a day or two!

Mine wasn't really an injury but was practising cat leaps at Southbank London and got a groin cramp, was very embarrissing when your rolling around howling other than that minor scraps is all.
interesting that its guys comparing scrapes, makes me wonder if girls are more cautious when doing parkour?

In my experience, too cautious.
Most of it isn't being physically cautious either. It's being socially cautious. Not doing the things that make you look stupid to strangers; not doing things for your own benefit, bla bla bla...
I'm just waiting until more girls percieve parkour as something they're physically suited to, like ballet, gymnastics, cheerleading or swimming.
It's as if superior motility isn't a motivation for most girls.
But I digress. Repeatedly sprained ankles (from childhood inability to feel pain) until I started ankle conditioning. Chipped kneecap. Ruptured thumb ligament. Most of these things are from stupid little things, not from things I would automatically pay attention to.

ive never broken a bone in my body but once i vaulted over a piece of old castle ruin, crushed my ankle and it was the size of a tennis ball for three days, i just used a supporter on it and thats it lol, also a year ago i did a really crap underbar on a horsewalk rail and scraped the skin off my knees, which wouldnt usually be that bad but i got an infection in the cuts because of the horsie poo (grim) so it took like a month to heal properly and there was lots of puss, my knees are now just pure scar tissue!! roflmao
