Hi i'm a product design student that doesn't know much about parkour, I was wondering if anyone that does parkour could help me out. I'm designing a first aid/emergency kit for people that take part in this, if you could tell me about any personal experiences you have had. For example injuries or a situation in which you needed a first aid/emergency kit? also what do you normally carry when you do parkour? and are there any supplies you wish you could take with you but couldn't because it was either too big or too heavy? i would really appreciate it if anyone could take the time to reply.
thanks.
Sagar.

Hi Sagar
I've been doing parkour for the past 2 years now, I've not really had any injuries apart from small cuts and bruises but I've never thought about taking a first aid kit with me because I'll probs get the piss taken out off me haha Not sure what you mean by an emergency pack, is that not the same thing as a first aid kit?

Hi Jason
thanks for replying, thought no one would lol, No an emergency pack could contain anything for example a bottle of water or even a snack, basically have u been in a situation in which u needed something before during or even after doing parkour?

Erm... yeah a bottle of water and a snack, before I start I usually listen to my ipod to get into the zone and its annoying when I have got my ipod and keys in my pocket jiggling about. There's even been a few times when I've lost my keys and I have to re trace my steps so that I can find them, this pisses me off haha.

Oh I forgot to mention I sometimes get sore legs so I take pain killers before I go out this helps but sometimes I forget to take them and I have to treck all the way back home, every time I go out I take a towel with me cause I always get sweaty when I'm finished. Hope this was helpful.
