Does anyone know of anywhere in Windermere or kendal that is good to practise at?

Hey All,
I started this link qute a while back and nobody replied for about 4 months. I live just outside kendal and have been Free Running scince last summer. It would be cool to meet up, we 'jumped' lancaster last summer which was cool and there are a few good place's there. I havn't really tackled Kendal yet but it would be good to meet you all. I'm not that great but my freind is a Gym Coach and has some good hint and tips.
There are a lot of places in windermere, use your eyes and they will become obvious. You have to train yourself not to see obsticles but opertunities.

I'm the friend thats a gym coach, AJ ;D wow , looks like we got the makings of a crew right here.Plus there are kids in the school i teach at who are really keen, and the head of pe is asking me about starting a club at the school. keep an eye on this thread because I am currently trying to negotiate a price on hiring a gym, question for everybody, which is nearer for you , carlisle, windermere, keswick, kendal or lancaster,

Hey traceuers of Cumbria. Finally I've been able to go outside and start training. I think I'm doing the roll properly now and the basic vault. I'm trying to learn the monkey vault but so far, no good! ...and AJ, easiest for me to get to, but not closest to me, would be Carlisle.

Cragrat , where abouts in cumbria are you , i'm in troutbeck bridge, Freedom , i'll let you know when i'm doing pk gym sessions in carlisle. as for out door stuff i'd love to get a carlisle jam session going too. mongo, spots in kendal i don't know yet, but windermere i know , as you'd imagine the lakes school is ok ,biskey howe in bowness is excellent it has a large sloping rock face that you can do very good preps for wall runs and flips. as is ambleside park as it has torn rubber strip surface for a nice soft landing areas that are very forgiving for learning drops and rolls or flips, theres some nice rock to tree oportunities some rails. not pk heaven but worth a visit. i'm going to start another thread for hotspots

Hey, AJ -- I'd be really interested in that gym you're thinking of setting up! I saw Jump Britain last year, and watched the second in the series this year, and have finally got off my bottykins and decided to do something about it! As you can imagine, as a total beginner, I'm not very good, but I'm really into this, and intend to keep working at it until I'm at least decent. What I need is some kind of class I can go to, or a gym where people can help me learn the ropes.
Please reply. I'm enthusiastic ;D
