Really. Like this:
Honestly, in my opinion Parkour is "following David's way". If you decide to do what he says: Call it Parkour. If you decide to do other stuff: call it however you want, but don't collide with given definitions. Just call it "moving" or "the art of moving" or "Die Kunst der Bewegung" (german). Then you won't be restricted.
bye, Dirk

No seriously. Don't bother with Parkour. It's too limiting to comply with todays definition. I just go outside and move. Mostly Parkour movements, but also some rubbish wannabe-tricking, some freestyle moves, handstands and basically everything that makes me stronger.
bye, Dirk

i think most people now train that way dirk, we train the inefficient moves as well to make ourselves strong, flips to keep us agile and generally have fun, little technical balance moves that demand huge amounts of hand-eye coordination, focus and balance, and the fast, efficient moves of parkour all in the same training session.
all of this means we can be strong and fast, but also be able to be presice and styleised, to be honest i prefer this smaller, more tech style of training rather than big fast gap jumps and high speed vaults etc
