yeh we should well meet up and invade that gym session. I'm 19 and am really really up for this. I'm crap at organising stuff so i'll leave it up to someone else. I haven't done anything active in like 3 years (i'm a musician) ha ha so this is gonna take me a while to get up to fitness!!

if you're in brighton then the sea front is a pretty good place to start as there are some nicely sized walls you can pretty easily clear which is good for confidence. Also loadsa rails etc That's where me and a mate went the other night. Also town centre has loadsa cool stuff but you gotta get your timing right as not to piss people off ha ha

In reply to Andy... Do you mean 'Yamakazi'? There is also some parkour in 'Taxi 2' & there is a fairly new film out called 'Les Filles du Vents' (I think?!)
Cath... My mate Al aka 'Big Guns' (!) phoned the gym number and we will probably start going on a regular basis. The gym guy is goin to give us a ring back on Monday to discuss orgainising a parkour session. Thanks for the info, will let evryone know what's going on!
Kwok... don't worry mate I'm 25 and Big Guns is 30! We're not OAP's yet...

Hm....My roommate and I were interested in taking some Parkour pictures in Brighton. We go to University of Sussex and live on campus, and we were wondering if anyone or group of people with be interested in coming out to our university. There are loads of great spots all over it. Lemme know.

Reckon we all might be interested in jamming at Sussex Uni.
BTW I'm Al, AKA Big Guns apparantly and Dantes' partner in crime.
Will keep you all informed on the gym front - should hear more back tonight.
On the Jam front - how are people fixed for an evening next week to meet up and jam the sea front - wed 19th or thur 20th maybe? Would people be interested?
We've been playing down there a little while but it would be good to see what other people come up with.

Me again (Al but from here on in Buster as Al's gone on the names...) In reply to Kena - Were you at the level skate park? That's where we started up last year after Jump London was shown. It's a great place to train but nutsty at this time of year when the wood gets permanantly damp and the rails get a bit frosty. There's some nice stuff you can do there though that you can't get away with anywhere else we've found. What we're always hungry for is decent cat leap sites - if anyone knows any - think Sussex Uni should be good for that but the only good places we've found in town are way too near the crowds and I definitely think we need to appear respectful to wherever we're training as some people seem to find it a bit aggressive...
