I am a manager, a sports centre in colchester, im involved in organising a community project that involves circus, acrobatics and dance. Parkour came into my head straight away as im a dabler myself. If anyone knows of ppl in and around colchester, or further, that would be interested in taking part in a sort of parade, then let me know, either on here on you can e-mail me..... chris_curtain2001(at)yahoo.co.uk you wouldnt get paid, but it would be a chance to promote the Parkour skills to a new generation, and i might be able to throw in a couple of free hot dogs! Hope to hear from you soon, the event will be held through the colchester high street, leading to castle park on the 3rd of december if ur interested, cheers.

Hey there mate, I was in Colchester yesterday as it goes. Good areas we found! The high street, erm, well, there isn't an AWFUL lot to do "parkour-wise" if you mean flips and tricks then I guess things could be done, but to be honest there aren't many tricksters that are confident and able to do "spectacular" things on flat ground and on concrete. However if an area was set up with obstacles etc, it may be an option, recently there was a portable "parkour park" made which would be ideal for this. I'll send you an email none the less, but I'm sure I'll be able to find you the types of "performers" or about the event in general. I will email you aswell. If you are looking for Specific Parkour information and help around Essex, check out www.swift-freedom.com . Hope to hear from you soon. Brad
