Hi there, i live in Hull and want to start getting into parkour i used to do alot of skating (inline) and have realised how much that would help such as clearing gaps, jumping high, co-ordination, balance and presision when landing etc. This was a year or two ago now but i havent forgotten the major stuff so does any one agree i would be at some kind of an advantage? Also how can i get starting, like what are the first things to learn. Cheers .prime... from the nrgize

One of the great things about meeting up is that everyone can share their thoughts and experience with others so everyone can learn and improve their skills.
I have been doing PK all my life (although I didnt know it had a name for years) but it doesnt mean that I can do all of PK perfectly and am sure there loads more to learn and to get better.
The key to PK is to practise and practise, if you can learn with others too and then you can exchange ideas and learn from each other!
Drop me a mail with your addy and I will add you to the list of when and where we are meeting up!
Cheers Hogman

Hi I'm a mum of three just about to hit the big 40!!!! I saw Jump Britain and was blown away. I've always been reasonably fit but have never tried any PK. Can an oldie like me get into this?? Here's hoping from Scu*thorpe

Hey Pesky you got mail mate!
Would be good to get everyone together in the Hull area!
Nomad, age isnt too important in PK, its more about attitude! You do have to be fit and quite flexible but you can do it I am sure! I am 30 and have been doing it for years - even Sebastion is late 20's!!
Come to the Hull Jam and meet up with us and go from there!
Cheers Hogman
