to trixx, first you should learn some stretches. you may look stupid but if you do stretch, you will increase your jump height and length. not only that you will be more flexible (you will be able to twist and do more stuff) here are some links for some stretches www.trickstutorials.com/mother_main.phpafter the site is loaded, goto tutorials, then flexible tms.ecol.net/fitness/strindex.htmAfter you have done the stretches, you want to learn the basics, this may sound stupid but you want to learn jumps and twists. after you have done some of these, try to find a small wall to jump off (try to find a small wall about 5 feet) off the wall, practice jumping. once your confident doing this, practise jumping and doing a small pk roll when you land. if you have any rails where you are, learn to do some vaults. this website below will help you with this. www.screwgravity.com/tutorials/speed_vault/tutorial_speed_vault.htmwww.screwgravity.com/tutorials/kong/tutorial_king_kong.htmwww.screwgravity.com/tutorials/reverse_360_vault/1hand/tutorial_reverse_360.htmwww.screwgravity.com/tutorials/lazy_vault/tutorial_lazy_vault.htmwww.screwgravity.com/tutorials/dash_vault/tutorial_dash_vault.htmwww.screwgravity.com/tutorials/rocket_vault/tutorial_rocket_vault.htmwww.screwgravity.com/tutorials/thief_vault/tutorial_thief_vault.htmafter you have learnt some of these. you can go onto some bigger stuff. such as wall runs, cat leaps, tic-tacs and palm springs but you do not need to learn these until you are a bit better. once you are more confidence you can try those sort of tricks. one thing to remember is the translation for parkour is street running. that is all it is, you run streets. no one says that you have to do fancy moves and twists its just running around! now and then if you see something to jump over it, do it or if you are going down some steps jump the last 3 or so. in time your confidence will build. Go at your own pace, stay safe, and good luck
