Thought it would be useful to see what nights people prefer for meeting, then sports hall availability etc can be checked.

k so wasn't sure which board to put this on. here is the hall info for Kelvin hall:
total cost - £21.20
break down:- passport - £2.90 5 a side hall - £16.90 equipment starts at - £1.40 (varies on equipment)
with a group of 20 we are only looking at £1.05ish each. that's pritty good.
don't know where student cards fit in there and under 17's get nice prices for some stuff.
days free look to be friday, saterday and sunday. the halls are fairly busy durring the week.
kelvin hall opens-closes monday 9am-10pm tuesday 9am-10pm wed 10am-10pm thur 9am-10pm friday 9am-10pm sat 9am-6pm sunday 9am-10pm
and to get a passport card (makes it cheeper to book) you need to take two forms of id with proof of address with you when signing up for it.
here ends this public anouncement
the voice of Taz has spoken....

thanks Taz, thats a good amount of info there, and its reassuring to know its not going to be too expensive, especially with the level of interest shown. (I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm fed up with the prices most martial arts classes charge).
The general consensus seems to be Sundays, which suits me too.
I have been talking to some of you on msn, and it has been suggested that it might be a good if we could arrange a night to meet in a pub for those of us over 18 (sorry young uns, this isn't meant to exclude you, its just the best place I can think of right now).
Was thinking Curlers (Byres Road, near Hillhead Underground) as its a good, relatively cheap place, and close to Kelvinhall). Thinking next Friday (14th) around 6 so its won't be mobbed yet, but thats just a suggestion, let me know.
