hey im in bangor, north down and there are some good places to do PK. ive in a way done it for years but didnt know about it. i would have been doint stuff as a kid but not just as extreme as some take it but now that i have properly started from i know about it a rail isnt just a rail to me ild look for ways to flow along it. i still skate but i am trying to spread time between it. the heritage center/town hall in bangor is a good place to do it very fun well hope more people in bangor take it up Phil

nope this is phil johnston dont kno phil breen and i have skated in dundonald hospital but never been freerunning there. i fugured all the good places would b in the estate and wouldnt go in there the way i dress lol. belfast is very good up at st marys and steps+rail at riters square and other places im pleased this is doing well but bangor now is better to do free running than skating id say as all the places are nobbed but getting good to free run in. if u want places i kno off ill think and rite them down and them put them in a diff post and gald to see so many people starting in down. jamie bet ur disapoiinted bout how u did on ur presentations...hav u said its cuz ur black yet cuz u normaly say that wen gray gives u a mark. sorry people i am a traitor as i did my presentations on skateboarding but now the weather is getting better i am skating more but making a list of places to do pk. 1 thing which annoys me is when people say they used 2 blade and the places wer they used 2 blade are good. if you are going to put in a place which is good for pk in this post then please do not write them. this annoys me because peole assume they are and these are people that dont really do pk but think they do. they would be like the gromits in skating and i hope i do not ofend anyone here. the reason i find they are not normaly good are because they are normaly just a rail/ledge they would have grinded or a set of steps. although you can vault over the rail it does not make it a good spot and steps are not really good pk material. pk is not about doing like 720 spins down steps but alot of people are thinking that is pk when even alot of sights do not help with blackflips and spins because they feel they are to much of a trick when pk isnt about that. sorry for the long post but thot i should get that out please put any good suggestions for spots from any where in county down [glow=red,2,300]Phil[/glow]

if you lookin 4 places in bangor, pickie is gd, the bridge at the car park, ward park isn't bad. Health centre is great just dont do what i did, check the surfaces, i didnt and ended up i broke my wrist. neway another gd place i havnt seen mentioned is a jump down around ballyhome. theres a concrete building just over the wall at the waters edge. if u can get around the cars you can jump 2 it no probs. Have fun
