dude, i have been doing parkour for around 5 years now, and thhe majoritory i have learnt has been self taught. Start learning on low stuff then if you get stuck about technique either ask me or other people on here, or go to www.expertvillage.com which is a very handy site which gives parkour advice. Just remember to keep within your ability to prevent accidents thanks Nick pkjsy

Yeah... I'm just getting started on this myself. I can easily find things to practice on around my area. But because i'm not terribly great at it , I fear onlookers staring at the 19 year old arsing around in a playground lol

Nick is right, and most of PK is self taught. People tend to not really bother about why you're 'arsing around', unless its in the playground full of toddlers and small children lol

then calm down and take deep breaths. the more angry you get, the more likely you are to hurt yourself so just relax and be calm, and you'll be fine.

ditto to ant and Pk as a way of living is learning to concentrate and not let your feelings of anger get in the way as it clouds your judgement. there is proberly nothing to be nervous about and if your showing off then you will mess up because your not concentrating. A good way to learn to concentrate is to meditate, as wierd as that sounds it teaches you to be aware, realx and focus on what your body is doing.
