hey I'm a 16 year old who has on recently discover the sport of parkour (better late than never), but i have no idea how to practice, or even the best places to practice. i live in amesbury in Wilshire and I'm wondering if any one in the area had/has similar problems as me? and how they solved them thanks

hay man i started out like you. i wasn't sure where to go to practice but after a while i realised that you can practice anywhere. if theres stairs if theres a wall if there's a railing if there's flat land hilly land concrete grass you name it.....anywhere. i recommend looking up parkour vids on youtube ect and trying out the simple stuff like rolls, cart wheels, vaults and jumps. the really cool stuff will come naturally after you build a foundation for them. remember....any weather is parkour weather!!!

any weather is parkour weather!!! No it isn't I can say that from experience, as I tried a wall run in the rain and twisted my ankle both ways, ripping the whole entire muscular system of the underside of my foot apart, that f£$&^ed my whole entire 3 months up, on crutches for new years. So not all weather is PK weather. best advise is start low and simple before trying the flash stuff. Imagine you are a child, you start at the basics like climbing jumping and leaping and always practise your rolls x

lol you were just being stupid then weren't you. any wether is parkour wether but that doesn't mean you get the same grip when its wet. don't be silly!! walls can also be generally slipy because of ice and the material there made from so you normally test the wall before you try things on it anyways. if it rains you can easily practice still work like hand stands and stalls instead as well as bar work. my point was that you can do parkour anywhere and in any condition after all in its origins from running away/chases it needed to be like that. making use of the environment. all we are doing is making it more flashy as there is no danger or threats anymore.

You mast gain some strenght to do a muscle up.Do a push up's and buy bar and do pull ups. Then go out on city , check spots , try precisions on curbs , monkey on low walls , try some moves from movies on YT. Sorry for my language.

I practice on some rather large walls that are conveniently right near my house.
