Well I just got back from the first session and I have to say; what a wicked time I had. It was awesome to see what some people there could do. Danny, you are the jump master.
Sorry, I don't know everyone's names yet, but Isac was defo the wall running master of the night, and that dude with the curly hair, thank you for showing us all the running up the wall and flipping over thing, that was phenomenal.
Hope to see you all next week, I'm determined to master the wall run and flip thing.
Take care guys,
Oli (chuck_stones)

Hey all, Hope everyone had a good time today - i was a bit worried that i would flop, and no-one would enjoy themselves. But by the sounds of it, you all enjoyed it, which is nice. Ok, about the equipment (or some lack of some of it), my bad... got let down Oh, and those of you who wanted some benches (we only noticed on the way out) there are 4 in the corridor next to the entrance, and we can take 2 of them upto the studio. I've done some serious damage to my left ankle - think ive re-torn the left side ligaments Im furious with myself over this, i thought that they had healed, but obviously not!! Ok, if ive missed anything, or you want to give some advice/opinions etc about the next meeting, please, let me know in here I'll start a new thread for next sunday when its sorted, and with what i know about the session. Peace out

Just a few thoughts for next week;
1. Can everyone remember to wear white wall friendly shoes (non marking soles), either that or can some people stay behind at the end to help clean the walls from the wall walks.
2. I'd really be up for learning the different vaults (as seen in the vid danny provided the link for) and then I really want to learn how to do the wall flip, so I'm going to need a spotting partner......any volunteers?
3. I'm also up for learning the palm spin, I think I found a good tutorial on screw gravity for that one and I'll try to remember to bring it along; also need a spotting partner for that ;D
Anyways, can't wait till next week. Good luck one and all, if anyone wants to meet up in Leeds during the week to practice some stuff, get in touch cos I'm well up for it.
Oli

Ok, hope this doesnt jinx it, but the peeps at the sports centre weren't too happy about the marks on the walls - and when we cleaned them, they're still visible. They just wont come out, without ripping the paint off!!! The jinx part comes in here, as they might not let me book it again, unless i can guarantee it wont get any worse - and they may insist on it getting painted at the end of term. Thats easy enough for me, as it would take me 2 hours at most, and thats by myself. So, please, non-marking compound shoes ONLY!!! Im having a word with the gymnastics coach who does trampolining, and hoping he'd come along - only he might want paying If he comes, then we can definately have the crash mats, otherwise thats a grey area. I'll post more, when i know more. PS My foot is sooo swollen
