Hi everybody. We are 3 french traceurs that began parkour arround 2006. We are making a 1h long documentary about parkour, where does-it come from, how it's evolving, the good and also the bad side of the democratization. We have a 10.000€'s budget and we only miss 2.500. That's why we posted our project on a crowdfunding website and that's also why we're here today. If you want to participate, even if its only with 1 or 2 euros, event if it's just a "good luck" message. You're welcome. Participate !Thank you.

I read the rules and so I will try to adhere to them, I like the warning that anything you post on the internet becomes public property. I am a 38 year old male, I was a semi pro skateboarder in the late 80’s, early 90’s, I was also really good at rock climbing and mountaineering and for a while I got paid to teach people how to do it, that was nice.
I’m in the north of England, I have some martial arts training, I have done no free running. I am now a novelist, that means I make words new again in a different order than they were put before, in a way that might be worth reading, they might not, that’s up to the reader.
I am writing a novel now, the central character is a free runner, I can spout all day about the passion I had for skateboarding and I feel sure a lot of that passion is very similar, it is not authentic to parkour though and I want it to be. If you are in the North of England (or anywhere but that would make life easier, I will travel) and are passionate about your artistic expression of running and jumping on all the stuff our race has made, like steps and walls and so on, instead of just walking about, well my point is, I have a really good story to tell about people who look at a long set of steps and see opportunity, not a hassle to be dealt with.
If you feel you have a real passion for this, it is a way of life, not just something to do for a bit when you get bored, I would really like to talk to you in person about it, if acclaim is your thing and this novel sells well you will get a big mention but if that is all you are after then maybe don’t reply? The way I put these words together in a new way might be so bad nobody ever wants to think they are novel, we will see……………………
That about sums it up, please get in touch, Phil.
