if you are going to hold an event like this u obviousley need sponsers like k swiss free running shoes. Sponsorship could be nice, but it's not necessary. I've met up with dozens of people before, and nobody paid me or gave me merchandise. my point is what sort of event are you looking for. an event with stalls to sell things and a show of free running/parkour or a casual event with a camera crew and u visit diffrent locations in the area Why do you need to sell things to promote parkour or freerunning? Who are the camera crew for? i would like 2 point out that all the posts on this page have gone off the origonal topic and that no 1 seems 2 have cum up with any proper ideas on a rall/jam watever u wanna call it Try reading the thread. Traceurs meet up all the time. As I wrote: Stick with the times, dude. don't you know about the London jam in a week or so? k swiss trainers are crap. this isn't needed. freerunning doesn't exist. I wouldn't say they're crap. They're definately flawed, but there is worth in them. Likewise, to say there is no freerunning is like to say there is no parkour. Freerunning is not parkour. Parkour is not freerunning. Both have their benefits. I'm sure one of you guys will try to stab me in the neck for not telling children how flips are evil.

may i say y does it matter what people call it wether its free running or parkour people still know what u mean. TALK.IN.FULL. because people view freerunning as backflipping off buildings. to quad, freerunning is just a seb ripped off name of yamakasi, which is aesthetic movement, call it yamakasi if anything. parkour is efficient movement, totally seperate. and, jon kid, EDIT POSTS INSTEAD OF POSTING LOADS.

Jon, dude. If you've ever tried to organize a jam with more than 5 people, and actually avoid enraging people who live and / or work nearby, you'll know how well small jams work.

well the more that do it in the area the better but at jams you should restrict it to ten as not to overcrowd it but if its all the same pepople each time at jams and it gets boring so you should encourage diffrent people to come along each time but try not to overcrowd.
ibut 5-10 people is way better than having 2 people but i was saying it doesnt matter how many do it in your area but just restrict it to 10-15 at jams as then ther will be no complaints of gangs and stuff hanging around
