Like Danny says in parkour journeys. You have got to find away to move away from it all. concentrate on your training, do what you enjoy doing.

from what i undertstand, all the blog says is that the names listed are in no way affiliated with DB parkour. the individuals listed are all people that are firmly in the spotlight and maybe this is DB's way of trying to protect whats left of his already tarnished creation. i dont think this means anything for the general practitioners. just keep training.

If you search 'parkour' in youtube 75% of the videos are people jumping of roofs and landing on there sides.

" All uses with commercial purpose advertising executives and/or of the “Parkour or with art of displacement”, all uses of the logo of Parkour representing the image of David Belle as well as the words or expressions referring to Parkour are strictly prohibited without authorization.
"
Surely that means ANY reference to parkour without their consent is prohibited.
Personally this dosn't bother me to much, parkour/freerunning, whatever, has grown immensly over the past few years and there is nothing anyone can do to control it.
As much as I respect David Belle as the founder of the art, he does not own it, just as I do not own these words I type, just as no-one owns football or rugby, just as no-one owns music.
I have a feeling this is going to create another nice big debate and probably define where everyone goes from here, each group respectively.
Seems to me this is a bit like parkour censorship, telling people what they can and can't do seems to be a recurring theme in todays parkour and I'm not a big fan of people telling me what to do.
I mean, look at me, the weather isn't bad, yeat I'm sitting in front of my computer on a parkour forum at midday?
Eugghhh!
