Hi. me and a few mates have just started Parkour. can anyone suggest any good areas around seaford and the local districts to try? Weve been doing it for about 2 1/2 hours today so were not that advanced plus seaford just rubbish for it!

Gym tonight. Maybe see some of you there. Details above somewhere and also on the other jamming list. Easy.

Hm....My roommate and I were interested in taking some Parkour pictures in Brighton. We go to University of Sussex and live on campus, and we were wondering if anyone or group of people with be interested in coming out to our university. There are loads of great spots all over it. Lemme know. I remember now. there are good places in uni of sussex site. (been there for a open day thing last year.)

More of you have to make this gym session - it is the way forward. Big respect to Geo for making it from Lewes and putting Dantes and I to shame with his rad somersaults. For all of you looking to learn the acrobatic stuff - arials, gainers, somersaults, flips - this is the place to be.

Wassup Geo! Good to meet you last night mate. Hope to see you and some others for the gym session next week. It's nice being able to try stuff out without falling over like a sack of nuts and injuring yourself! ;D

only problem is if it's for adults then my mate can't come along as well and we sorta help each other along the way.

The adult class had 15yrs in it. There was a younger class before us which probably started at about 6pm. It's worth giving the gym a ring just to check, I think the number is in this thread.
It was great fun using the vault coz if you bailed you would only land in lovely soft foam.... no injuries!

Hi guys. I write for a local magazine called The Brighton Source and we're really keen to do an article on the local parkour scene. If anyone's interested in having a chat, please give me a shout on 01273 561617 or info(at)brightonsource.co.uk. Any help much appreciated! Cheers Marcus

Listen up! Just spoke to Marcus from the Insight and he wants to send a photographer out to get some shots to accompany an article he's doing on the Brighton Parkour scene.
I've told him we'll organise a jam SOON and get as many people as possible there - we're looking at a cover story if the shot works out so obviously it will be a bit lame if there are just three of us and a dog.
Anyway, this will be the ideal opportunity to get a good sized jam on the go and also for us all to put faces to these names.
He needs a daytime session - I'm suggesting Saturday morning from 10 - 1 - how does this suit? And who could make it? Let me know soon as he'll need to book a photog as much in advance as possible.

Right guys - forget most of what I've said so far.
I've spoken some more to Marcus who is from the Source Mag, not the Insight, and he definitely thinks we're on for a cover if the photos are up to scratch.
Having discussed crowds in town, and light levels, and the photographer's availability, we've CANCELLED Saturday and made a date for 8am on Thursday the 3rd of February - a week today.
We're meeting at the Ellipse on the sea-front. Me and Dantes will be there representing - it would be really good to have some more of you there as well. We quite regularly train down there at that kind of time and it should be nice and quite. Let's keep everything crossed for a dry night before and bright morning on the day...
PS Geo we ain't going to make it tonight - work and sh*t but will hopefully see you next thursday morning - you should be there - and big up yourself for getting the girls along...
