New email from Chris just came through today:
Hi Charlie, Cheers for your e-mail, sorry I thought I had e-mailed you with an update, but I am fairly busy so I could be wrong, anyway. OK, from the last meeting I had with Kris, its all sounding pretty positive. You are all still wanted, don't worry! your training wont be in vain. lol. All the insurance and health and safety stuff is fine, so no worries about that. I have mentioned to you all wearing generally the same clothing, which I think you said about wearing black which is cool. Basic run through of the day will be, Parade down the Colchester High Street, along with samba dancing, street dancers, stilt walkers and people wearing wintry costumes, and a fair bit of music, and obviously you guys. How much you guys do in the parade will be up to you I reckon. Were hoping that the street will be fairly busy so its prob going to be just tumbling sort of things really, as there might be limited room to manoeuvre on obstacles along the street. this is something that is still to be confirmed though. This will all lead into the Castle Park, where there will be a staging area, surrounded by several marques, and one of these is where we hope we can get you guys in generally showing off and teaching a few moves. Kris and I are still discussing how were are going to organise the individual performances while in the park. It could be that we have each group do one performance on the staging area throughout the afternoon, or we have one or two big performances with each group performing straight after one another, either at the beginning or the end, or both. Kris and I are hoping to organise one big meeting where everyone taking part can come along, chat to each other, and for Kris and I to explain everything in more detail. I will let you know when I know. I have asked about equipment before, but is there anything in particular that would help to enhance a performance. We have crash mats, thinner mats, thinner mats still, we have a red gymnastic box that might come in useful, but if there is anything else you can think of let me know. I hope that makes sense and gives you a bit more of an idea about the day. Oh yea the event is going to be called.... Winter Thrills Big Top Skills! (not my idea)! As always, any questions, ideas, anything, give me a shout. Cheers, CC

oh sorry ( ha ha goon) Well Chris is going to email me with the date of the group meeting. If you can't attend, you can't attend nothing to worry about. It would be handy tho as Chris has said to me the run is important. We need to check surfaces etc.
I haven't really thought of it but the weather is most probably not going to be great so we will have to wait and seen on that one!
-Charlie.

Might be a idea to go in. Once we get moving, I'm sure the adrenalin will be pumping and so will our heart rates!
