Hi guys im francis, im 16. Been doing parkour here and there since i was small, i just never knew wot it was called until a year or 2 ago. I live in colindale. If any1's interested, I reckon a place near where i live called Graham Park Estate wud be gud 4 free running. I cant do anything at the moment cos im about to have an operation on my knee so i'll be out for about 7 months (dont sweat, that was from rugby, not parkour). Get in touch with me at r9_francisvu(at)hotmail.com

Hey everyone! What is the most popular place in the Mill Hill/Barnet/Edgware area? Has anyone done Brent X Shopping Centre? I don't know anyone in the North London area as I only moved to Mill Hill a few years ago. I was a mad sk8r in my youth, I'm now 30! Is it too late to do all this free-running lark? I'm looking for some guidance and 'safe' house to train... also noticed that alot of you are Martial Artists. I am a Coach in general Martial Arts and know MANY little exercises which may also compliment the parkour! I'll keep my artistic eye out for potential places to Jam and let you know.

there are some pretty good places in and around camden, especially the market. canalside areas there are good but watch out for slippy surfaces.
dense living areas like university campuses and council estates are great, but some of the council estate gangs dont appreciate free runners. certain parts of parsks could be good. try not to free run kiddies playgrounds though, you might hit a kid or get busted by park wardens.
inverness house and the surrounding area (hampstead heath) is good too
i hope this rundown of north london was helpful if anyone else knows other areas that are really good please post!
