So, was it a success? Much of a turn out? I was gutted. I was running a bit late, and managed to get there at 7:15, but there was nobody there. I figured you guys must have moved on by then. I had a wonder round that area of the campus in case you were doing some laps or something, but no luck. Next time for sure!

there was 4 of us i've got a jcr meeting 6:30 next tuesday, so i'll be ble to find out the edtails about how to get the union and possibly making it a club eligible for becoming somehting official as part of the uni, so we get space n stuff- but i couldn't organise a stray pube to float down a plug hole so it may take a while- which means i'm unsure as to whether we'll have anything definate by the re-freshers bunfight. once i've got the details for what we need i'll put them up here and someone can help (or take over) organising- i think dave's already finding out about union space- until then i guess we can just hope to keep checkin the boards and a bit of nicer weather! nick.

Hey people, I love Parkour, but im not exactly athletic although i play alot of tennis and consider myself to have good balance. I live in Southampton (sholing) so reply and let me know about where you do things in southampton. I work in the Marlands and saw some people doing Parkour opposite the non-highstreet entrance to the Marlands. They were on the Asda side of the road to the left and by the steps, it looked amazing and loads of people stopped to work. Were you there by any chance? lol Hit me back Meathead

Re: winchester/southampton « Reply #31 on: Jan 7th, 2005, 1:51pm » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ive been free-running for 18 months and have made several pirate films of parkour for several projects (one in paris). With a background of martial arts, athletics, and gymnastics. Im in shirley and my training ground extends from tauntons college to west quay, east-street and st. marys. All these new ppl want to get in on the sport from watching Jump London and Jump Britain im still a novice who wants to break away and create a new crew, u guys must have good stamina, be 18yrs and older for legal reasons and into the same type of stuff. i shall make a chat room on msn im not gonna go round e-mailing ppl if u wanna be involved just add to the chat bring yourself an open mind and all your originality.
