So, where on the island would actually be good for any runs/practices?
Places I can think of are...
The Sandown mini-golf course area (giant bumpy slide on the seafront) Puckpool park Most of ryde seafront since it has the walls, beaches and rocks West cowes town area maybe?
That's all I can think of... Except maybe under sandown pier at lowish tide for lots of bar stuff.

I went and done a bit of PK at Ventnor once, that was pretty fun. It's amazing what you can spot when you're just walking around. Ryde is by far the best area (mainly the sewage pumping station lol and the old WW2 battery) I have encountered so far though. I'm sure more certain areas of goodness will pop up as soon as more people take up Parkour.

After watching Jump Londen+Britain Parkour is definatly Urban based. BUT. The Isle of Wight is not well known for its towns and Urban archetecture (probably spelt wrong!) We do make up for it in Natural land forms and looking around on other parkour websites theirs some amazing jumps in woodland settimgs and stuff around cliffs, these things the Island has plenty of. With recent bad weather their could be some fallen trees and stuff which would be great to try stuff out when dry.

Northwood park has been our spot for the last 4 or 5 meets, but I think newport deserves a visit from us as a group, either off road at Carisbrooke Castle, or near the Riverside centre at the Quay side!
been there a few times myself if anyones up for it!
