when i am out training i always have a good breakfast and do a number of warm ups and stretches i drink plenty of water and never push myself but i feel that after or 3 hours of training i have a painful sensation below my knee caps i dont no where this has come from as i thought i had a healthy body and good joints im not sure what this problem is but if anyone else has had/having the same problems maybe they could give tips to decrease pain and even prevent all help would be gladly appreicated as it is hindering alot of my training.

could be something with your tendons does it affect your calf muscle? i think you should rest iut off a bit ice it occasionally. could be jumpers knee or something

yeah, i used to have this, but am over it now, all i needed to do was rest for a month or 2 off training, it generaly happened after alot of jumping and landing training.

It might be jumper's knee- I've had that a few times- I got round it by conditioning.

Unless you've been doing it a while, I'd think 3 hours of training is probly the reason why! As a long-term thing, I'd suggest taking cod liver oil capsules (or in any other form) to help improve your joints. Maybe calcium and vitamin D as well. Glucosamine sulphate can help repair cartilage too. These things aren't expensive - I get all mine from tesco's for a few quid, and they last months.
As an other option, you can buy sports straps and supports which will give your knee extra support. I got mine again from tesco's (no, I don't have shares in them) for about £20. Made by Elastoplats, and they've really helped me a lot since I started doing PK properly.

thanks for your help ive been taking some glucosamine sulphate and calcium and it seems to be doing the trick also some light conditioning to improve muscles around the knee area i can train for longer without a searing pain in my knee still not as long as i would like but im building upto that once again cheers for alll your help

DON'T TAKE COD LIVER OILS.
common misconception that they actually have some use
fish oils! replace glucosamine with fish oils tbh (EPA fish oils.. can be bought from and holland and barrett)
