don't make a thread about whether parkour is flips or not untill you actually know what parkour is.
parkour = effiecient movement flips aren't parkour.

No.
I don't really think it's up to us to say if we think Parkour is flips.
Because at the end of the day, Parkour is a set, defined thing.
It`s like saying in Football, if you pick the ball up and run about as if it is basketball, it's still football. Where really Football is another defined thing.

Flips have never been part of parkour, people only do them in the videos to either show off or make they're video look better. As charlie said Parkour - movement Flips - not parkour, they are in freeRunning or ticking etc.

think about this, parkour is doing necessery movement, getting from one point to another as quick as posible using the terrain to your advantage. Maybe just maybe there will be a situation were you will need to use a flip, it maybe unlikely but there is a possibility

dont follow one opinion just because the creator said, if the pope said the church is a load of rubbish, doesnt mean its true (thats just an example, im not catholic)

parkour is about agile and flowed movement. i dont know anyone who can flip about like a flea and not slow down. flips come under tricking and free running.
