Hi Everyone, I would like to know what Parkour/Freerunning/Tricking means to you and how it affects you as a person, your lifestyle and socially etc. I would also like to know why you practice these things. Please could you state which one you practice too I practice Parkour or Les Parcours and FreeRunning. For me its a way of life where I can be free within myself with the only boundaries being the mental ones which I set myself. It makes me learn self control whilst sometimes going into unknown territory and really pushing myself to be the best I can be. Parkour for me Socially is a very good thing as I have made many new friends through it, where we help each other progress. Parkour definately gives me a sense of self fulfillment, both physically and mentally. It also helps me to keep healthy, eat well and excercise. Parkour is definately one of the main things in my life and it was one of the best decisions i have ever made deciding to take it up. Well please leave your comments about what Parkour/Freerunning/Tricking means to you, and even comment about what I've said! Thanks Guys Nick AKA Pkjsy

i'd say i'm a traceur/freerunner.
well, my life has completely changed since i started. when i began, i was a fat little skinhead chav. tbh, i should've been shot. my general fitness has greatly increased via parkour. My confidence has also grown madly. one downside, is that i can feel the paranoia that noone else feels. i sometimes feel trapped by everything holding us back. i overcome this when i train, but if i'm out socially, it is very difficult, as i'm not in training clothes. my social life has changed dramatically. i hang around with totally different people, my attitude has changed, my clothes have, my music taste has.
