Now, the main point; On a whole, how many of you train with music? and how many of you train without it? and why? Also, what music do you listen too if you do trainw ith music - artists and songs etc - however NOT jump britain or london soundtrack. Just for my general knowledge and the fact i'd love some new music Thanks guys

Wow! Hampshire! I used to live there, back in the day. Now I'm a little jealous. As cool as it is to train with Andeh during holidays, it would be nicer to live closer to guys like Teg, or get to the Basingstoke gym without any hassle. [insert rant about being the most experieced traceur in the ass end of nowhere for months at a time]
Sometimes I have music, but more often when training I don't. Part of that is because I left my lovely bluetooth headphones in Cambridge, but it is more because music gets in the way of communication, and makes it harder to tell how discrete I am being.
I tend to use music as a time killer when travelling from place to place, a headscratcher for annoying earworms, and as motivation on those days when I really don't want to go out and shout at children but I know I should.
I tend to find music from parkour videos annoying to train to. This is probably because most of the people I train with are very keen on watching videos at home for inspiration, and listening to the same music at jams. Perhaps this is why I dislike Fort Minor, enjoy French rap less than my friends, and no longer enjoy Bonobo.
I can't tell you what music I like, as I don't honestly know. It varies on a weekly basis. I can, however, tell you what I have enjoyed recently. Venetian Snares, Dethklok, Aggro1, Beck, David Bowie, Dogggystyle, The Knife and Nine inch Nails.
