yeah, basically, carbs and protein before training
something like jam, honey etc with porridge
no carbs in the evening though, proteins and fats
morning: P+C Evening: P+F

unfortunately it ain't as simple as that. the human body is a complex and ultimately unique piece of equipment, everyones dietary requirements are different, especially when we include personal goals of what we require from our bodies and where we are trying to get them to. good advice though ant. on a personal note, its all about bananas after training. bananas FTW!

bananas after training gav?
before or uring tbh, good source of starch for the energy but yeah, i suppose potassium & fibre would be good for after
ok, i'll write a short article for now; Basically, your body needs carbohydrates for energy, which are generally in the basic form of sugars.. glucose, fructose, galactose. Starch is a polysaccharide.. basically "many repeating units of sugars (monosaccharides)" and are VERY useful for the body in the morning, as you have a ready source of glucose for energy. starch and carbs are very high in foods such as fruits, as well as of course.. sweets. So, pre-training, fruits and sugars are very good for you, as you'll have more energy to perform at your optimum.
It has actually been shown that our bodies need a very low percentage of protein, and the rest is excreted in urine. But, proteins are amazing for morning, the proteins go into production of ATP, as well as many other key products which help to give energy to the body, so every part of your body will have energy.
This is why the proteins/carbs in morning is good. as for Proteins and fats in evening;
Protein has also (the main thing people think of when it comes to proteins) is that it works the muscles. basically, what it does is help muscle fibres to repair, and so you can work the muscles sooner, and they will get stronger quickly, much like sterroids.. but in a safe/natural way. Fats are amazing.. they are very well needed in the human body and can be used in reperation of muscles in the body, though i do not know a great deal about them.
carbs in the evening are not a good thing.. if the energy is not used.. it is stored as fat, mostly around the stomach area and is not too good if you're trying to lose weight.
Heres a general tip about diet.. eat less meals.. (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and have more snacks at intervals Think of your body like a wood fire.. if you throw on lots of words, it will slowly burn through, if you throw on one small log, it will soon be burned away with your body trying to digest and absorb lots of food, a HELL of a lot of energy goes into this process, hence why you feel so sluggish after eating lots.
sorry if it seems i've rambled, just basic stuff, if you need any more help, just ask :]

no probs
something i forgot to add about carbs in the morning - basically, your body has been on a fast for 8+ hours, and so needs a the energy, and with carbs, you'll gain this energy rather quickly

well if you have spare time before you do parkour have some thing like pasta, rice, or if it is in the morning then have some porridge about three to four hours before hand and water two to three before you go off and do some parkour then have a bit of fruit straight before you start and have some fruit after and to top up your energy levels.

personally, i'd go for porridge with jam or something like that
what i normally have is; porridge with sultanas, chopped banana and, sometimes honey
full of carbs, plus porridge is high in protein.
BUT you still need to eat during the day.
on a relaxed 8 hour jam, a traceur would burn off around 5000 calories so yeah, remember to eat often when training.

excellent advise ant. the only thing i would say is instead of eating less meals and more snacks, try dividing your days meals into, say, 6 smaller meals.
