I dont know bout other parts of the country but it is certainly raining alot in the north of England.
What areas would you recommend beginners to strt training in these weather conditions?

It rains in southern England alot aswell... so in would say either do it in a sheltered place (duh) or do it indoors. But if the grass is wet it wont be so hard so why not just do it in the rain, you wont get as hurt... wet and muddy yes... but that a small prices to pay.

ok i kind of realised to do it in sheltered areas etc but maybe i phrased it wrong...is it a good idea for noobs to try new things in these weather conditions or to just wait ntil it patches up a lil?

i would say wait until the weather gets better, but, if you can find a sheltered place, go for it jtraceur

Most of the time wet=slippery. So I would just use common sense and stay away from running/landing on smooth or metal objects.

NCP carparks, warm, dry and plenty to do...nuff said
but if your like me and there are no NCP carparks near you, continue your running and only do things that you know you can do safely or without much risk, i wouldnt try anything that you have not done before in the same conditions...

i think everywhere has its potential places tp pk in all weather conditions... last night 4 of us went out around windsor .. it was wet and raining . but if u walk around for a little while you start to find places that are dry ....undercover.. u just need to use ur imagination more.. i never find myself short of places to pk in any weather/town/place i may be.. i think theres always sumwhere to train if u look for it.. take care and stay safe...
