For me, my goals/intentions would be to continue with my parkour training and to improve upon my skills, start my training with GM Kam, and generally improve my strength and fitness, in particular my muscle mass and tone. also, to develop a deeper understanding of the various arts that interest me, and i have been seriously thinking about spending some time training in china as well.
so, there are the goals that i can think of at the moment. post yours.

I have a few things i want to accomplish by doing parkour. Firstly i want to develop my skills and ideally (though outhrageously unrealistic) be almost as good as david belle. Next i wana to develop my strength, stamina, speed and flexibility aswell as develop myself mentaly to overcome obsticles and challenges that i wouldnt hav been able to do when i started parkour.
But my main goal is to prove something to myself. I have had some tough times in my life and people hav helped me through, but i want to do this on my own (obviously take advice from people like gav who has been very helpful to me last few weeks) and show people that i have trained and i have developed myself.

i disagree, ok so mentally you will never get close to understanding the philosophies on the level of belle, but its good to aim high, even if it may seem unachievable. physically belle is outstanding but he has been training 18 years, who knows how good any of us would be with 18 years training. plus belle isnt superhuman and hasnt reached the limits of human capability yet, which means there is still room for improvement, which in turn means his skill level atm can be surpassed, and one day probably will be. by saying its impossible to get that good your placing limits on your abilities, and there are none.

true, but he did say it was outrageously unrealistic. if you aim that high then you will achieve alot.
